Elkapsling AB is a growing industrial company in Ånge that develops, manufactures and markets cabinets and enclosures for the protection of electrical and electronic equipment. Manufacturing and development take place in the factory at Alby outside Ånge and the customers are mainly in the Nordic region.
Elkapsling has 94 employees and is part of the Lagercrantz technology group, which operates in nine countries in Europe as well as in India, China and the USA. The Group has approximately 1,500 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 4 billion. The company’s shares have been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2001.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Through its own advice and product development, Elkapsling produces customized solutions for all demanding environments. We create long-term relationships by constantly improving and developing our products and services in close cooperation with our customers. We are an organization with a great entrepreneurial spirit, short decision-making paths and a strong customer focus at every stage.

As a designer, you will mainly work with product development and product care. You are therefore involved in the creation of manufacturing documentation, such as detail, welding and assembly drawings. The design department handles customer orders on a daily basis, which also includes the creation of production preparation and work instructions. The role also includes starting, running and completing internal projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has good experience of working in projects or project management where you independently run projects from first idea to finished product. You should have a great drive and be able to work independently. You are a person who comes up with new ideas and dares to present and implement them. We demand great flexibility, good team spirit and you should be a humble person. As you will collaborate with other departments and be a driving force and support in many issues, we are looking for you who are communicative both to your employees and to our customers.

You have a university degree or equivalent knowledge in a relevant field. It is desirable that you have a few years of work experience, preferably in the field of construction.

OTHER
Our head office is located in Alby, Ånge, but we also have an office at Metropol in Sundsvall. Ideally, you can be on site an average of 2 days/week at the head office in Alby.
