Elkapsling develops and manufactures enclosures that protect electrical and electronic equipment in demanding environments – from industry to critical infrastructure.

We are about 90 employees with production in Alby and our customers are mainly in the Nordic region. As part of the Lagercrantz Group, we operate in an international context while retaining our strength in close cooperation – both with customers and between colleagues.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a designer with us, you are a central part of our projects – from the first idea to the finished product.
You work closely with the customer, production and colleagues, which means that you get a holistic understanding of how the solutions are used in practice.

Your main tasks:

• 3D design and modeling
• Manufacturing, detail, welding and assembly drawings
• Production preparation and work instructions
• Customization of solutions based on customer needs
• Driving and completing internal improvement projects

Here, you don’t just get to design – you get to help develop solutions that last in the real world.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for you who want to take responsibility in your projects and contribute with both competence and commitment.

You have:

• Technical education (university or equivalent experience)
• Experience in construction, preferably in manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with CAD tools, such as Solid Edge or SolidWorks
• Good understanding of production and technical flows

As a person you are:

• Solution-oriented and curious
• Meticulous with attention to detail
• Collaborative and communicative
